Bringing Technology Innovations to Cancer Research
KnowledgeVis received a renewal award from the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR) to continue bringing innovative technology to use fighting cancer in a number of projects. KnowledgeVis has collaborated with FNLCR Scientists over several years, pioneering technology to improve the efficiency of pre-clinical cancer research.

Making Sense of Networks with MultiNet
KnowledgeVis, LLC is pleased to work with the University of Utah and Kitware in developing MultiNet, a web-based community resource for exploring matrix and network datasets. This two year NSF award will explore how to make resahaping and editing tools readily available, and provide visualizations for data items related by a network of relationships. During the course of the project, we plan to validate our approach using several different application domains: phylogenetics, neuroscience, social networking, and geology.

KnowledgeVis Processing Huge Datasets in DARPA XDATA Award
KnowledgeVis, LLC is pleased to have been selected to provide visualization research and development services as part of a team led by Kitware, Inc. on the DARPA XDATA project. XDATA will push the limits of technology for storage, analysis, and visualization of large datasets across multiple domains. For this project, KnowledgeVis will develop state-of-the-art web-based data visualization interfaces for a number of big data problems. The Kitware team also includes leading visualization researchers from Harvard University , the Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Washington, and the University of Utah.
